Storyline
Alma Solares is a married law professor whose seemingly stable life begins to unravel after she spends a passionate weekend away from home with her recently divorced friend Brenda.
During the weekend, Alma meets Darío Guerra, a much younger man, and the two begin a secret affair. What Alma initially considers a passionate escape soon becomes much more complicated.
After Alma returns home, the mysterious death of Brenda changes everything. Alma begins questioning whether her encounter with Darío was simply a coincidence or part of something much more dangerous.
As Alma and her husband Esteban investigate the events surrounding Brenda's death, they uncover disturbing secrets involving Darío, their family and people close to them.
The mystery expands across two seasons as hidden identities, manipulation, betrayal and obsession continue to threaten Alma's relationships and her understanding of the truth.
