Storyline

Maharani is a political drama inspired by events in Bihar during the 1990s. The story follows Rani Bharti, an uneducated homemaker whose life changes overnight when her husband, the Chief Minister, unexpectedly appoints her as his successor. Initially underestimated by political rivals and the public, Rani gradually evolves into a capable and determined leader. As she navigates corruption, power struggles, caste politics, and personal challenges, she fights to establish her own identity in the world of politics.
